Join us in March for the launch of the Women of Diversity SIG with a fireside chat on entrepreneurial beginnings featuring Akendita Amoro and Andrea Chang, facilitated by Victoria Montanez. This engaging panel will be followed by small group discussions, giving you the opportunity to reflect and take away actionable practices and create your community.
Through honest reflection on immigrating to the U.S. to study law and transitioning from tech leadership into career coaching, our speakers will unpack what worked, what didn’t, and the mindset shifts that made the difference.
The Women of Diversity SIG is a space where the voices, experiences, and wisdom of minority groups shine. We focus on moments of growth, new beginnings, and transitions, creating a community built on allyship and mutual support. Here, women from all paths can share lessons learned, exchange insights, and connect deeply—building bonds that inspire, empower, and uplift each other, becoming an “oxygen tank” for one another.
Our co-chairs, Akendita Amoro and Victoria Montanez, bring their own journeys of immigrating to the U.S. for study and professional opportunities, navigating new territories, and embracing the growth and evolution that such journeys entail.
