Causing Good Trouble: Lessons from an Entrepreneurial Journey
Dee M. Robinson, founder of Good Trouble Bourbon and Robinson Hill USA, has built a remarkable career as an entrepreneur, business leader, author, and advocate for social change—getting into a lot of “good trouble” along the way. Her newest venture, the highly awarded Good Trouble Bourbon, blends entrepreneurship with social advocacy, supporting the Be Good, Do Good, Shine Your Light Foundation and sparking meaningful conversations about inclusivity, equity, and connection. Dee will share her entrepreneurial journey and explore how the philosophy of causing good trouble has driven her success. Attendees will learn how to apply this approach to their own personal and professional lives—challenging the status quo, taking courageous risks, and leveraging influence to create impact.

Speaker Bio
Dee M. Robinson is an entrepreneur, author, and advocate for social change. She is the founder of Robinson Hill, a leading concessions management firm, and the creator of Good Trouble Bourbon, an award-winning Kentucky bourbon that supports the Shine Your Light Foundation. Robinson is the author of the bestseller Courage by Design and serves on boards including Wintrust Bank and PGA REACH, championing leadership, inclusion, and empowerment. A recognized leader in business and community impact, Robinson has been honored by Chicago United, WomenInc., Diversity MBA Magazine, and the Fellowship Open, among others. She holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and received an Honorary Doctorate from Kentucky Wesleyan College.
